Rova Studios is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you interact with our services, including our Discord bot. When we use the terms "Rova Studios," "we," "us," and "our" in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to Rova Studios unless otherwise specified in additional terms for a specific service or feature. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Data Collection
1. Data Collection From You
We collect personal information that you provide directly to us. This includes:
Your Discord user ID and username.
Your Roblox user ID and username.
Any other information you voluntarily provide while using our services.
2. Data Collection From Your Discord Server
When you invite our bot to your Discord server, we collect the following:
Server name and ID.
Server owner’s Discord username and ID.
This data is necessary to maintain server-specific configurations and identify server ownership. Please note:
We do not have the ability to remotely access any server with our bot.
3. Data Collection From Your Members
We do not collect data from your members unless they directly interact with our bot. For example, when a user executes a command like /update, we retrieve their:
Discord user ID.
Roblox user ID and associated profile details (e.g., profile picture).
4. Server Configurations
When you configure Rova on your server (e.g., using /setup), we collect the following information:
Server ID and owner details.
Triggering user’s Discord ID and username.
Any other information given in the config or setup command.
This information is stored securely in our database and is used exclusively to provide services for your discord server.
5. Cookie Data
If you choose to set a Roblox authentication cookie with Rova:
The cookie is securely encrypted and stored in a database, accessible only by our founder.
We cannot view the cookie directly, but it is possible for us to view it.
We only fetch the Roblox username and ID for logging purposes as well as the cookie itself for ranking purposes.
By using our services and setting a Roblox authentication cookie, you consent to the collection and use of the information outlined in this privacy policy.
Use of Information
The information we collect is used to:
Provide, maintain, and improve Rova’s services.
Develop new features and enhance existing systems.
Respond to user inquiries and support requests.
Monitor and log errors to improve system reliability.
Comply with legal obligations when necessary.
Logging of Actions
We log every command executed, including changes made to configurations, setups, and permissions. This logging is essential for troubleshooting and ensuring the security of our services.
Important Note: For commands like /set-cookie, we do not log the entire authentication cookie. Instead, we only log the associated Roblox username and user ID.
This logged data is securely stored and used exclusively for service improvement and compliance purposes.
Additionally, we may track bot usage metrics like commands run, buttons pressed, bot added/removed, errors, messages sent, ranking actions, setups, binds, config/permission changes, linked accounts in the last 24 hours, and user joins/leaves in the last 24 hours. All data is deleted after 24 hours and only stored as numerical counts, never user-specific data.
Public stats include commands executed, buttons pressed, bot joins/leaves, errors, and linked accounts. Other metrics might be logged internally to improve the bot.
Sharing of Information
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except in the following cases:
Legal Compliance: To comply with legal requirements, enforce our policies, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Rova Studios, our users, or others.
External APIs: We utilize external APIs, such as Discord and Roblox, to deliver our services. These platforms may have their own privacy policies.
Your Choices
You can choose not to provide certain information or not to invite our bot to your server. However, this may result in limited functionality or prevent our systems from working as intended.
Data Retention
When the Bot is Removed: All server-specific configurations are deleted when the bot is removed from your server.
Ranking History & Verification: Ranking history and verification data are retained but can be deleted upon request.
To remove ranking history, please contact us.

Parental Consent for Minors
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it immediately.
Legal Recourse and Compliance with German Law
In accordance with German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG), we reserve the right to pursue legal action in the event of unauthorized access, misuse, or violation of our services or policies. Unauthorized Data Access: Any attempt to access, modify, or misuse our database or systems without authorization may lead to prosecution under § 202a StGB (German Criminal Code – Data Espionage).
False Claims or Abuse: Any individual making false claims regarding our data handling practices may be subject to legal recourse in line with § 823 BGB (Damages for Unlawful Acts).
Contractual Violations: If you violate our terms or breach agreements related to our services, we may seek damages or other remedies as provided under German contract law.
Defamation or Misrepresentation: Publicly spreading false information about our services or practices may result in action under § 186 StGB (Defamation) or § 187 StGB (Intentional Defamation).
We are committed to protecting our legal rights and the integrity of our services under German law. For disputes that cannot be resolved amicably, we reserve the right to escalate the matter to the competent courts in Hamburg (Germany).
Acceptance of Terms
By adding the Rova bot to your Discord server, executing any commands, or interacting with the bot in any manner, you explicitly accept and agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Privacy Policy. This includes the collection, processing, and storage of data as outlined, as well as your acknowledgment of our data retention practices, security measures, and the rights you have regarding your personal data.
You also agree to abide by the terms of service and any updates to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, you should refrain from adding the bot to your server or using any of its features.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Any updates will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
