Terms of Service

This Terms of Service explains the rules and guidelines for using Rova Studios services, including the Rova Discord bot. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Welcome to Rova Studios. By using our services, including our Discord bot ("Rova"), you agree to the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding our bot to your Discord server, interacting with it, or using any related services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an server, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that server.

2. Eligibility

Our services are intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, you are prohibited from using our services. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Use our bot in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Provide accurate and truthful information during configuration and use.

  • Maintain the security of any account or server configurations you manage.

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your server or account while using our services.

You may not:

  • Use our bot for illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes.

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt our services.

  • Modify or redistribute our bot without prior written permission.

  • Use our services to harass, spam, or abuse others.

Violation of these rules may result in a blacklist to our services.

6. Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice. Additionally, we may terminate your access to our services if you violate these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rova Studios is not liable for any damages, losses, or issues arising from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to:

  • Data loss or corruption.

  • Server raids.

  • Misuse of features or configurations by you or your server members.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights related to Rova, including but not limited to the bot’s design, code, and branding, are owned by Rova Studios. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our services shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts in Hamburg, Germany.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Any updates will be posted on our website with the "Last Updated" date revised. Your continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Logging and Monitoring

We log all command actions, including configuration changes, setup adjustments, and permission modifications. However, sensitive data such as Roblox authentication cookies set via /set-cookie are securely encrypted and not fully logged. Only the Roblox username and ID associated with such actions are stored for operational purposes.

12. Protection of Intellectual Property and False Representation

In accordance with German law, including the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB) and the German Criminal Code (StGB), we strictly prohibit any form of intellectual property theft or false representation, including but not limited to:

  1. Unauthorized Use or Replication: Reproducing, redistributing, or claiming ownership of any material, features, or content originating from our platform is prohibited under § 106 UrhG (Copyright Infringement).

  2. False Representation: Spreading misinformation or falsely claiming affiliation, ownership, or endorsement of our services is actionable under § 823 BGB (Damages for Unlawful Acts) and § 186/187 StGB (Defamation and Intentional Defamation).

  3. Unauthorized Development: Any attempt to replicate or reverse-engineer our features or systems without express permission may result in action under § 202a StGB (Data Espionage).

We reserve the right to pursue legal action against individuals or entities that engage in such conduct and will escalate disputes to the competent courts in Hamburg, Germany, if necessary.
